The idea for GolfShot Apparel was founded in 2017 by a couple of friends who met on a golf course in Atlanta, GA. They decided they wanted to start their own golf apparel company, not to compete with the big guys (Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, etc.), but to be a part of the group of smaller apparel lines that many golfers seem to enjoy. Being a small, minority-owned apparel company for a sport that is global seemed like a very doable task to these lovers of the game. They created their logo and started selling hats. GolfShot Apparel was officially born.
In late 2018, they realized that they both had great ideas, but neither were proficient at selling golf apparel They decided to add a third partner who had an extensive background in sales and happens to love golf as well. In 2019, they focused more on expanding their company from hats to golf shirts and other golf apparel. This proved to be a promising idea as they saw golfers in Metro Atlanta starting to wear their apparel increasingly.
In 2020, GolfShot Apparel had begun to create golf apparel for several golf leagues in Atlanta, GA and Danville, IL. Golf tournament directors across the US began to call on GolfShot Apparel to make shirts and hats for their leagues and tournaments. Now in 2022, GolfShot Apparel can be found on golfers in casual rounds in all corners of the U.S.
